When you arrive at the Encore, a Cornerstone representative will direct you towards hotel check-in, upon check in you will also receive your wrist band which is necessary to gain entrance to WOPT events.
1:30pm Golf (Shotgun start) at the exclusive Wynn Golf Club
For those who have selected to play, please plan to arrive accordingly.
12:00pm – 7:00pm Sponsor Hospitality Suite
Cigars and cocktails will be served to all sponsors in a private suite at the Wynn.
7:30pm – 10:30pm Cocktail Reception
Cocktails and heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served during a private reception at the Blush Lounge (Wynn). Here you will receive your name tags, table assignments, and be able to participate in the cash-only Calcutta (bid "auction style" on your favorite player to win).
Thursday, April 8th
8:30am – 10:30am Breakfast
Breakfast will be served in the Brahms ballroom, overlooking the Encore Pool.
9:00am – 4:30pm Poker Tournament
The tournament begins at 9:00am and continues until the there is only one oilman left standing. The format is the same Texas No-Limit hold 'em that has been popularized by the World Series of Poker Main Event. Beverage service will be available throughout the day.
12:00pm – 3:30pm 2nd Chance Tournament
For those eliminated before 12:00pm, you may elect to play in a cash-only 2nd chance tournament in the Brahms Ballroom ($150 buy-in).
1:30pm – 3:30pm Lunch
Lunch will be served in the Brahms ballroom, overlooking the Encore Pool.
5:30 – 9:00pm Dinner at Bartolotta
Cocktails will be served from 5:30 – 6:15, guests will be seated for dinner at 6:15 – 8:45.
9:00pm – 11:00pm Comedian
All of the poker tables will be taken out and the room will be converted as a premium lounge and entertainment room. Here we will be entertained by one of the country's top performers, Pablo Francisco, in an unforgettably intimate surrounding.
Friday April 9th
7:50am Maverick Helicopter Tour
For those enjoying the Echo Star Helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon, the Maverick Aviation shuttle will be waiting to escort you there at 7:50am in the lobby for your 9:00am lift-off. You can expect to return to the hotel by 12:30. This will also give you enough time before your late checkout time.
9:00am Dune Buggy Tour
Adventurous attendees that have picked the Sun Buggy Dune Buggy experience of the Nellis Dunes will have a shuttle picking them up directly from the Encore at 9:00am. Expect to return to the hotel by 1:30, lunch included. This will also give you enough time before your late checkout time.
